Common Solutions
Before trying specific solutions, here are some general troubleshooting steps that can resolve many common issues:
Restart your computer
A simple restart can resolve many temporary system issues.
Clear temporary files
- Press Windows + R
- Type
%temp%
and press Enter - Delete all files in this folder
- Empty your Recycle Bin
Clear browser cache
- Open your browser settings
- Find the clear browsing data option
- Clear cache and cookies
Check Windows Firewall
- Open Windows Security
- Go to Firewall & Network Protection
- Make sure Kamari is allowed through the firewall
Reinstall Kamari
If all else fails, try a clean reinstall:
- Uninstall Kamari
- Delete remaining files in
%localappdata%/Kamari
- Download and install fresh copy
Visual Studio C++ Redistributable
If you’re experiencing issues launching the client, you may need to install the Visual C++ Redistributable package first.
Download Visual Studio C++ Redistributable
Download both Visual Studio C++ Redistributable packages from Microsoft’s official website:
Install the packages
Run both downloaded installers and follow the installation steps.
Restart your computer
After installation, restart your computer to ensure all changes take effect.
Application Start Error (0xc0000906)
If you encounter the error message “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000906)”, this is likely due to your antivirus blocking the Kamari client.
To resolve this issue, please follow our guide on handling false positives to properly whitelist the client in your antivirus software.
